Brace yourselves—Stone Harbor’s coldest (and wildest) weekend is back! The 2025 Stone Harbor Shiver is set for Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, bringing two days of icy fun, costumes, music, and the ultimate test of bravery—a plunge into the Atlantic. But don’t worry, town will be buzzing with restaurant specials, shopping, and plenty of ways to warm up after you take the dip.

Friday, March 14 – Pre-Shiver Party at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor
Start the weekend off right at the Pre-Shiver Party at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, where for just $30 per person, you’ll get an Irish buffet, live music, and a ticketed auction—all while supporting the Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce and this year’s beneficiary. Plus, this is your chance to register for Saturday’s plunge, grab official Shiver swag, and meet the 2025 Shiver King & Queen.
An Irish buffet, music, auction items, and more - the Shiver Pre-Registration Party kicks off on Friday at 6pm at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor.
Saturday, March 15 – Sips, Dips & The Shiver Showdown!
10:00am – Kegs ‘n Eggs at Fred’s Tavern
Fuel up with a Shiver-worthy breakfast at Fred’s, grab your team, and get your costumes ready for the annual Shiver Showdown!
Kegs...eggs...costumes - it all starts Saturday morning at Fred's Tavern, 10am.
12:00pm – Shiver Parade
The fun continues with the Shiver Parade, where sponsors, floats, costumed teams (and their cozy supporters) will march down 96th Street led by the WHOAPHAT Brass Band.

12:15 PM – Shiver Showdown Competition
Before the plunge, teams will compete for “Best Of” awards in categories like Best Team Spirit, Most Creative Costume, and more!
Led by the WHOA PHATT Brass Band from Philadelphia, the parade ends at the Women's Civic Club, and the Shiver Showdown contests begin.
1:15 PM – The Plunge!
The moment of truth—brave souls will run full-speed into the Atlantic for the most exhilarating (and coldest) moment of the weekend.
Led by the 2025 Shiver King and Queen, plungers will head into the Atlantic Ocean around 1:15pm, followed by a Post-Plunge party back at Fred's Tavern.
